Users That Run into Flash Drive Not Formatted Problem

User1: My flash drive is shown as a removable drive on my computer, but I can’t open the flash drive. It says you need to format the disk in drive before you can use it. Can anybody tell me what is the meaning of this message? Can I still get back the important data after if I format the flash drive now? If the answer is no, is there a solution that I can get data off the flash drive without accessing the drive?
