User1: My computer which is running Windows 7 operating system didn’t recognize my Sata2 Seagate 500GB hard drive. Then I shut off my computer and reboot it, but Windows still didn’t recognize the drive. I found that the hard drive makes some noise. I have been trying to solve this problem for a couple of days but I have found no solution. The reason why I feel so worried is that the hard drive contains a lot of important files without backup. If anybody has any insight, or suggestion, it will be appreciated very much.

User1: My hard drive is not detected by my computer both in My Computer and under Disk Management. But I have important data on this hard drive. I tried to connect this hard drive to another computer but it still can’t be detected. How can I retrieve theimportant data from the hard drive if it keeps undetectable?
