An error message popped up when I plug my 4GB flash drive into the computer. The error message is flash drive needs to be formatted error. I can’t access the flash drive, either. Then I tried to format it, but it showed ''Windows can’t complete the format''. Is there a good way to recover files inside the flash drive?

The answer is positive. Of course, files are recoverable with some methods. However, you must make sure not overwrite the flash drive before you can successfully restore all lost files from the drive. Besides, it is also very important that not format the flash drive before you get all data off the flash drive. Write new data or format the drive will make the data recovery difficult or even impossible.
