Please,
I need some help here. I accidentally formatted a 2GB micro SD card on my NikonD800. I have called the customer service of the micro SD card manufacturer, but
they told me that they don’t deal with such kind of problem. How can I unformat micro SD card?
Indeed, no memory card manufacturers will
deal with the data loss problem. When data is lost from the micro SD card, you
can either ask professional data recovery service for help or do it by
yourself. It is quite convenient and effective if you ask professional data
recovery worker to restore the lost data due to formatting, accordingly, they
will charge you certain amount of money. In fact, you don’t need to ask anybody
for help since you can restore the card all alone.
Can I Restore a Formatted Micro SD
Card?
Whether the formatting of micro SD card is
finished or not, you can use micro SD card recovery software to unformat the micro SD card and restore the lost data. Micro SD
card recovery software enables you to recover lost videos, office files, pictures, audio files, etc from the formatted card. You don’t need
to worry about any unwanted change to the micro SD card by using the software
since it performs read only operations and won’t do any change to the card. When
lost files are found, you can select other storage device to save the recovered
data. You can refer to data recovery after formatting for step-by-step wizard on micro SD card format

Notes on Formatted Card Recovery
Stop writing more data to the micro SD
card: It is strongly recommended you not to write more data to the micro SD
card after formatting. Any data you write to the card will overwrite the space
where stored the lost files, which will disable you to recover the lost files.
Recovered data is not allowed to be saved
to the original micro SD card: When you want to restore and save the found data
after using micro SD card recovery software, you are not allowed to save the
data to the original micro SD card. Otherwise, it will overwrite the lost
files.
