Flash Drive Problems: Unable to Access
Data from USB
User1: I have an 8GB USB flash
drive which I often use for data storage. I like to save music, videos and
pictures in the flash drive. However, when I insert my USB drive into my laptop
today I can’t access the data from the drive. The flash drive can not be recognized
by the laptop and it shows all files are still there when I check the
properties. What will you do if you meet such a problem?
How Could You Retrieve Files from USB Flash Drive
USB flash drive is often used as a media
which makes it easy to transfer and store different types of files. No matter
you are using a SanDisk flash drive, Kingston flash drive, Toshiba flash drive,
Samsung flash drive, Western Digital flash drive, Sony flash drive or any other
types of USB flash drives; you should always face a problem – data loss from USB flash drive.
First thing you need to do when you face such a problem – stop using the USB
flash drive.
If data has been overwritten by new data, they will go forever and you will
never have a chance to get them back. As long as the data is not overwritten,
you can retrieve them by using USB recovery software.
