3TB Seagate hard disk drive has been working fine on my old Win7 computer. But
it only shows 746GB when I connect the hard disk drive to a new computer which
is running a Win XP operating system. Can anybody tell me how does this happen?
I also found that I have lost some important files since almost 2TB partition
has been disappeared. How can I get back the lost 2TB partition with its data
back?

How Can You Retrieve Lost Data from a Western Digital Hard Disk Drive?
Is It Possible to Recover Lost Files from Western
Digital Hard Drive?
I have a Western hard disk drive. I partitioned the
hard disk drive into 4 partitions on my HP computer. Today, when I open my
computer, one of the partitions cannot work properly. Whether I double click on
the partition or right click on the partition to open it, it always shows an
error message which says: disk in drive is not formatted do you want to format
it now? I know there is something wrong with my hard disk, but I
really want to get data off the partition before I format it. How can I do it?
Please give me a hand.

Recover Data from HDD with Bad Sectors – Repair Bad Sectors on Hard Disk Drive with Data Back
Bad Sectors on HDD That Leads to Hard Drive
Inaccessible
I got some problems with my Hard disk drive because it says has bad sectors. When I want to access data from the drive it says data error (cyclic redundancy check). So I have two questions here:
1. Can I repair the bad sectors on the hard disk drive?
2. Can I get back lost data after I repair the bad sectors?

When you find your hard disk drive has bad sectors, you may receive a common message "Cyclic Redundancy Check
(CRC)". Then you will find data inside the hard disk drive becomes inaccessible,
unreadable or missing.
