USB Flash Drive Can’t Be Recognized by Computer

Help out with USB Flash Drive Problems
User1: An 8GB SanDisk Cruzer flash drive is not recognized by my computer. This flash drive has been used for a few years and it contains a lot of files including images, mp3 files, mp4 files, AVI files, 3GP files, PDF files and emails. All these files are very important to me because I have no backup. I know there must be some solutions for this problem, but I have no clues what to do. So I want to post my question here and hope someone can give me some advices.
