User2: I have a 32GB SanDisk USB flash drive which has been formatted in fat32. The drive contains several important work items. When I go the access the flash drive, an error message pops up to prompt me format the disk in drive before I can use it. Check the properties, it shows the flash drive as raw and both used space and full spaces as 0byte. The flash drive contains 10GB data at least, but where is those data?

Restore Files from USB instead of Formatting the Flash Drive
USB not formatted error is very common under windows operating system. Most people who run into not formatted error have no idea on how to fix the problem. Most people think that they will never have chance to get back the lost data once the flash drive shows not formatted error, so they may reformat the flash drive when windows asks them to do. However, the fact is you still have opportunity to get back data when the USB has not formatted error. So it is highly recommended not to reformat the flash drive before you get back the lost files.

Here is the solution for data recovery: download the flash drive recovery software and install it on your computer ->> connect the flash drive to your computer and enable the software to scan the flash drive for lost files ->> preview and save all the important files you need. Well, the whole data recovery process is very simple. All you need to do is to wait patiently. When the data recovery process is over, you can reformat the flash drive to fix the not formatted error. If you still have any problem, you can visit data recovery from not formatted.
