Users Need Help from Not Initialized External
Hard Drive
User1: I plug my external hard
drive to my computer but it is not recognized by my computer. I can’t find a
drive letter for the external hard drive when I plug it in. I see the disk
listed as "unknown" and "not initialized" under Disk Management. I right click on the disk drive and select the Properties; it says
the device is working properly. When I right click on the disk drive, I can
also get the option to initialize the drive. But will I lose all data after
initialize the external hard drive? I don’t want to lose the photos. What
should I do?
User2: I have an external hard
drive but it is not initialized. When I insert it into my computer, I can
receive a message says the drive is ready for use, but I can’t see the drive on
