Situation1: My 2GB SanDisk Crzer USB flash drive has been full, so I
decided to format the flash drive to save more data before. The first thing I
did is to transfer all important data to my computer hard drive from this flash
drive. Then I formatted the flash drive but the terrible problem happens. When
I just selected the Format option to format the flash drive, I realized that I
forget transferring an important folder which contains many important pictures.
Now my flash drive is empty, do I still have chance to get back the pictures?

Situation 2: My 8GB flash drive said not formatted error. It said you need to format the disk in drive G before you can use it. Without any hesitation, I formatted the flash drive because I need to access the data from it. However, I can use the flash drive but can find nothing inside my flash drive after formatting it. Where is my data? How can I regain those lost files?

Data loss due to formatting is easily to be
recovered with data recovery software as long as you can make sure not to overwrite
the flash drive. What is overwriting? It means that you add some new data to
the flash drive after formatting. Data lost due to the situation1&3 above
is recoverable easily with formatrecovery software. For the situation2, the chance for data recovery is not
so good because when you format the flash drive which says not formatted error,
it may overwrite the data inside the drive. As I said before, data that has
