Case1: My memory card (8GB micro SD card) says that it needs formatting in my Blackberry mobile phone. I can neither listen to music on my Blackberry, nor watching movie. Since all the files are stored to the memory card, it keeps saying memory card needs to be formatted whenever I want to access any data inside the card. Should I format the card so that I can access the data inside? Or is there any other method that I can use to resolve the memory card not formatted error?

I inserted my SD card into my Nikon camera, but it says memory card requires formatting. Then I connected the card to my laptop, and I got the first error message:

"Disk in drive is not formatted do you want to format it now. Yes / No"

I clicked No, and I still have no clue to access the card. So I click "Yes" to continue, and then I got another message:

"Formatting will delete everything on the memory stick. Yes / No"

I continue to click "Yes" to format the card, and I got the last message:

"Formatting cannot be completed."

Now, my SD card still says needs to be formatted, but it is not able to be formatted.
